Same here, also affects my desktop and application launcher icons. DPI=144 and Scaling=150% I'm using KDE Frameworks 5.85.0 I'm pretty sure this is different from #440984 It’s gone now for me with latest Arch updates… Tiny icons again after a reboot, huh… For people using Frameworks 5.84 or earlier: forcing the DPI and not using the global scaling system is not a recommended or supported method of scaling things, precisely because it leads to issues like this. For people using Frameworks 5.85 with fractional scaling on X11: you are experiencing a bug that I introduced, sorry. I fixed it yesterday and asked distros to backport it. Arch Linux seems to have fixed this issue with an update. So this is fixed indeed. Never had an icon scale problem like this before in the 6 years I’m using HiDPI via fonts scaling now. Yes, I suspect the Arch packagers backported the commit. Yup, they have: https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commits/packages/plasma-framework/trunk Thanks Nate! :) |
Created attachment 140735 [details] Tiny systray With this update, my systray became tiny. Shouldn’t be like this. I’m using UI scaling via forced fonts DPI (163) on a 4K monitor and adjusted symbol sizes (Panel: 48).
