*** Bug 441641 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Actually, I think it would be much better if you can also add option to launch minimized to task bar (as an alternative to system tray). Unlike a small monochrome icon in system tray, I see a colorful Elisa icon in task bar displaying progress of the currently playing song in addition to the audio mute toggle overlay icon, and a preview onmouseover. I personally would prefer the system tray icon in monchrome or colored just as long Elisa is opened from the system tray instead of starting a new instance when Elisa's desktop icon is clicked or launched via shortcuts. Akregator application has an option to autostart in system tray if you add --hide-mainwindow to the autostart properties. Unfortunately this does not work with Elisa (yet). Maybe can copy code from it. Such function or a separate option in application settings would be much appreciated. Thanks. |
