The frozen image of the shut down logo remains for almost exactly 16 seconds, consistently. This frozen image does not happen when there's the details screen during shutdown. When Alt-Tabbing when the logo appears, and the shutdown details of services is shown, the system shuts down instantly after everything's done, without showing any frozen images. However, if I don't go to the details screen during shutdown, the frozen image still appears. The frozen image also does not happen when 'Details' is chosen under 'Boot Splash Screen' in Settings, which I guess is the same thing as triggering it using alt-tab? Anyway, I've found a workaround, so am I supposed to mark the bug as RESOLVED, or does anyone else do it? I'm relatively new to this bug tracking system. Thanks in advance ...just installed Kubuntu (because my neon died out), and the bug is there too. Jeez, annoying. Anyway, this isn't a neon problem, so I'm closing the bug. |
