I found this bug looking for similar problems to my own, but thought I'd comment. You shouldn't need either the Bluetooth connection nor the USB connection. Simply being connected to the same router/wifi network is sufficient. I don't have this issue on Fedora Silverblue 35 (w/GSConnect) and my Pixel 6. Seems to work as intended. Could be an issue with the way you are connecting or with the Windows version of KDEConnect. Sorry can't help any more than that! Good luck. I can confirm this bug report. It seems like there is some sort of buffering going on - if I keep on sending remote inputs (from my Android phone to my KDE laptop), the stutter will eventually go away, but after I stop for maybe a few seconds and send remote inputs again, the stutters will return. Not sure if my case was the same, but I had similar issues, and seemed to have resolved it but since I am on linux and not windows I am not sure my work around could help you, but it seems its the same issue. Choppy / laggy input and it does go away after a moment of persistence, but then after stopping for a moment it comes back and the cycle continues. https://discuss.kde.org/t/kde-connect-remote-input-is-very-laggy-and-choppy/18390 As said in the KDE Discuss thread mentioned above, launching Steam seems to temporarily fix the issue, same with Discord, but it doesn’t work with e.g. Dolphin. I suppose launching XWayland does something that makes the input not laggy until some condition make it slow and choppy again. I can confirm. I use Arch and Aurora (Fedora Kinoite based) on fully updates systems. The issues was there before, and persists until now. I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ with KDE connect. I have used other remote mouse apps in the past which worked flawlessly, so I doubt it is a network issue |
