Description rotterdamnation 2021-08-05 15:05:44 UTC
Add the ability to disable custom fonts across all websites. Similar to Firefox, always enforce the user's default choices, if custom fonts are disabled. Perhaps add two options, one for disabling web fonts (allow websites to use system fonts), and one for always enforcing the user's defaults.

This can save some network usage and memory, it can also make websites look more uniform, and better, if font anti aliasing is off for example.

Are you asking for what https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=494873#c5 describes? (That is, an equivalent to `firefox-143.0.3`'s `chrome://browser/content/preferences/dialogs/fonts.xhtml#:~:text=Allow pages to choose their own fonts%2C instead of your selections above`?)
