SUMMARY
option to scale desktop selected wallpaper / slideshow resets after applying, or doesn't change the preference at all in the first place.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set desktop background to slideshow
2. select either one or multiple folders containing different images (mostly .jpg in my case)
3. enable option 'scale' in the related drop-down menu
4. hit apply or ok and re-open the background configuration window by right clicking onto the desktop

OBSERVED RESULT
resets from 'scale' to 'scale and crop'

EXPECTED RESULT
just scale the slideshow images without cropping / cutting out at the edges, actually applied parameter

lightweight bug but very annoying considering it's a simple settings value for desktop config
