Longterm plane is certainly a good idea, as we also want plasma to use layershell. There's a technical limitation that as of Qt5 you can only use one shell in a process. Because latte also has a normal window (layout settings) which we want to use xdg-shell, we have to hold off for now for anyone interested I have created a branch and discussion for this at: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/latte-dock/-/issues/95 |
