SUMMARY
The sidebar features a close button, whose expected functionnality would be to close the sidebar and keep it closed until the next opening request. Unfortunately it just hides it for the current window, and new windows all come with the sidebar open again, same if you restart the browser.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the sidebar with Ctrl+H or Ctrl+Shift+B or from the menu
2. Close it using its dedicated button
3. Open a new window and/or restart the browser
