I can confirm this and it's common across all versions including the 4.4.5 and the July 13 5.0.0-prealpha (git f5040d8) @lilianjaye: Please update to version 4.4.5 for any future bug reports. I've edited the report title to make it more 'technical'. This was initially discussed here: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=139&t=171867 The 'pre-click' selection modifiers are swapped over but the 'post-click' Ctrl modifier (polyline action) for Freehand Selection is not swapped over. It also had the effect of forcing a Subtract selection, which is the swapped pre-click action. When swapped is enabled and a rectangular or elliptical selection is made, Ctrl as a post-click modifier has its usual 'centering' action and does not force a Subtract selection. This is inconsistent and confusing. |
