I confirm this feature was very useful in ksysguard. Moreover, I'd remember there was a similar tooltip on the cpu usage that shown the kernel and user times. I'm not sure anymore, but there may be one also for the memory usage. |
Created attachment 140021 [details] Screenshot of process info hint feature from KSysGuard SUMMARY I think it would be useful to show process info hint (Process ID, Parent, Parent's ID, Number of threads, Command) when cursor points to name of a process in Processes view. For example, there are many processes with same name but with different commands which ran them - so with it users can easily determine specific process. This feature from KSysGuard is missing in Plasma System Monitor.
