Description Podagric 2021-07-10 19:07:24 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to the menu and enable read-only mode
2. Try to dismiss the notification with the keyboard

OBSERVED RESULT
You can only do this with the mouse

EXPECTED RESULT

1. Since there is already an indicator on the tab to inform the read-only status, it is not necessary to keep this notification active permanently and using so much space.
2. It should also be possible to dismiss the notification using the keyboard, via the Esc key, for example

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Graphics Platform: X11

I'm not sure if this bug belongs to konsole, as this alert seems to be used in other KDE applications as well.

You can assign a shortcut to "Read only"; regardless I don't see the issue w/ leaving the notification visible until disabled. The only interaction is if some program is displaying info in the session.
