That works for sure in digiKam. 1. In the advanced metadata settings, make sure that the tags for rating and label that are changed by the other program are at the top of the list. 2. You need to re-read the image metadata. For more detailed information on what you need to set, we need an example image. Maik Read this: Bug 418806, Bug 421693 Maik Thanks for the test image. The digiKam default entry for xmp.rating is OK. You just have to move the 2nd entry xmp.Label to the top position in the advanced metadata settings for color labels. Maik After deactivating the sidecar read-write, the rating transfer started working with the default settings. The Color label transfer probably can't work, because in one case the color is marked with a number and in another case with a word. Hannes By using different Windows programs you have generated a huge mix of metadata, since the Windows programs only write part of the metadata and do not synchronize all possible metadata fields. You also have different metadata in the images and in the XMP files. digiKam can also handle the color labels with text, you just have to set that these tags should be read first. Otherwise I would recommend you to clean up and syncronize your metadata with digiKam. I don't see any bug in digiKam here, I'll close the bug. Maik |
