SUMMARY
The Wipe with dissolve feature doesn't apply to rendered video

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add 2 clips
2. Overlap begining of second clip to end of first clip and click corner of overlap 
3. Try render 

OBSERVED RESULT
clips never dissolved into one another.

EXPECTED RESULT
The clips should smoothly switch/dissolve into each other

Thanks for your report! This is confirmed. In the meanwhile you can use the dissolve composition as a workaround: it does almost the same than the wipe composition.

This should be fixed now so I am closing the report. Please test the 21.12beta appimage: https://kdenlive.org/en/2021/11/kdenlive-21-12-beta-out-for-testing/ or 21.12 once it is out (in December). Feel free to reopen if the problem persist with 21.12
