STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create smudge brush, set tip to an rgba tip, set brush mode to lightness map.
2. Create a new brush in another engine (e.g. pixel)
3. Try to create smudge brush again.

Does this still happen with the 5.0 beta (or later)? We have been doing a lot of stablizing since july...

This had been a bug that I'd been asked to file when an MR regarding default rgba tip settings was being tested. In the end I think changes to the MR were made and this was fixed or no longer relevant. I just checked to be sure, but it's no longer a problem. I've closed it.
