Sentry Crash Report:

Description Anton K 2021-06-20 19:38:00 UTC
SUMMARY
lmsensors are not available in the systemmonitor DataSource engine
Some plasmoids (ThermalMonitor) and some ksysguard tabs do not work

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run "plasmaengineexplorer"
2. Select "systemmonitor"
3. Find lmsensors (it is not available now)

Maybe I was mistaken with target (libksysguard)...

sensors version 3.6.0 with libsensors version 3.6.0

Operating System: KDE neon 5.22
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Kernel Version: 5.11.16-051116-generic (64-bit)

And it seems too: "acpi/Thermal_Zone/"
Comment 2 popov895 2021-10-01 13:26:16 UTC
This seems to be a Neon maintenance issue, since lmsensors is available in both KSysGuard and System Monitor on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

Any work on this?
Comment 4 Carlos De Maine 2025-09-20 09:36:14 UTC
Thank you for your bug report!
However this bug report was created/provided previous to 01/01/2023 and also has not received any updates since before 01/01/2025.
Unfortunately KDE neon no longer provides updates for anything older than noble 24.04 based edition's.
Please upgrade to KDE neon noble and if you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
Thanks for understanding!
