Define "Doesn't work". What is the problem exactly? THat it doesn't use the gtk theme,gtk2 programs are just white instead of having the color of my theme. Could it be cause the index.theme is missing? I don't know. Is it missing? How can I check that,where is that file even located? I don't know; you brought it up. :) I asked on the kde subreddit,then someone said that this file could be missing,I don't know.
