SUMMARY
Project Bin video files don't show preview "scrubbing". Worked in 19.12 Appimage, and doesn't in 21.04-21.04.1.
Some videos show the scrubbing, and videos where I have saved in/out regions show the scrubbing in the regions.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Load video into bin
2. Scroll mouse over video
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Scrubbing doesn't work on most videos.

EXPECTED RESULT
Scrubbing works as before.

Preview "scrubbing" is disabled due to performance issue. Enable it, click on the 3 lines in the project bin (option) -> enable "Show video preview in thumbnails."

I double checked it, and it was enabled. But thank you.

I should also mention that when I mouse/hover over the thumbs the small "progress bar" briefly flickers for less than a second. No jobs ever appear though on the jobs tab.

Thanks for your report! Can you please clarify if your problem is fixed or if there are still problems? If so please try the nightly appimage because there have been bigger changes in the job and thumb creation code during the last weeks that are currently only in the nightly (expected for the 21.08 stable release). Does the problem persist with the nightly?

I have just tested this in 
Kdenlive
Version 21.11.70 Appimage and the issue has been resolved.
The scrubbing is now working as it was before 21.04.1
