Im also experiencing the issue on Fedora 37. I tried to copy a lot of files from my external drive, but i had to cancel the copy operation. Then i tried to copy again but Dolphin didn't give options for either overwriting or skipping already copied files, it just went and gave an error message complaining about a lack of space. It also happened while extracting some files, because the operation used multiple parts it exceeded the available space even though the resultant file could fit on my disk. It didn't think things through in a way that made the operation possible (doesn't happen on other file managers). Hardware: Asus Vivobook 14 with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx (8) Observed Result: Dolphin didn't give appropriate options to avoid a lack of space, instead throwing an error message. Expected Result: Dialog to either cancel, overwrite or skip copying/extracting files. It goes straight to an error message (along the lines of "no space available, operation cancelled") Software/OS Versions: Fedora 37 with Linux 5.15 Xanmod (also happens on other kernels) KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 |
