SUMMARY

The System Monitor does not maximize when attempting to maximize it. Attempting to maximize it also freezes the application -- the various values being reported stop updating. However, it is still possible to move the window. Also, switching tabs (i.e. from Overview to Applications) does nothing, but will change the window title.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Monitor
2. Click Maximize Button or drag to top of screen to attempt maximize
3. Observe non-responsive application.

OBSERVED RESULT

The System Monitor does not maximize. The System Monitor does not display updated information.

EXPECTED RESULT

The System Monitor should maximize. The System Monitor should continue displaying updated information.

Works for me on Wayland with an Intel HD620 GPU.

Updated system to KDE 5.22.1, issue persists. New versions listed below:

Does this happen in apps such as discover?

The same bug does affect Discover (just tested).

It does not happen with FireFox, nor does it happen with Dolphin or Konsole.

Please let me know if there are specific apps you would like me to test.
