SUMMARY

Sometimes pasting into Qt Creator results in pasting the last copied test instead of current text. This issue does not occur on Sway 1.6


STEPS TO REPRODUCE 
1. open qt creator
2. copy some text and past it
3. now copy new text from outside of qt creator and try to past

This is approximately 1/2 times reproducible

OBSERVED RESULT

old text is pasted

EXPECTED RESULT

new text is pasted

Copy paste into xwayland has been cleaned up in 5.23. Please create a new report if there are still issues

I did not ran Qt Creator under xwayland. I start plasma with `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland` set.

I also double checked with xkill command and killed xwayland to make sure Qt Creator was not running under xwayland

Since its not related to XWayland, Can this be reopened ?
