Description Erez Freetall 2021-06-10 06:36:21 UTC
SUMMARY
I wish there's a way to turn off the face recognition in SPECIFIC folders or albums (this option was very useful in Picasa) because there are certain folders that contain photos with unrecognized and anonymous people, or people that shouldn't be tagged.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Settings menu > Digicam settings > collection

OBSERVED RESULT
There's no way to disable the Face recognition in specific collection.

EXPECTED RESULT
option 1: Each collection line contains a checkbox to select whether face recognition is enabled or disabled to the specific collection.
option 2: Each collection line contains an "Edit" button that opens a collection setting menu, in which there's an option to enable or disable face recognition to the selected collection.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 (11 is out soon)

This is more or less a duplicate of bug 366556. You can select an album (with a click on the root album also the entire collection) in the album selector via the right context menu select or deselect it with all sub-albums.
