Close button in 5.24.3 (Breeze Light)

Close button color

Plasma 5.22.80 already have this changed inherit from Breeze evolution. However, the close button doesn't have too much contrast like the minimize and restore/maximize button. The close button, when "draw circle around close button" is disabled, could have a less pale background color.

This is an intentional change according to the mockups at https://phabricator.kde.org/T13451 which have been shown publicly for over a year. If you want more contrast, you can always turn the circle back on.

I think it's not about not drawing the circle but the circle background being so pale when hovering
Comment 3 David Redondo 2021-06-10 08:29:40 UTC
I think it was different in the past and changed when it was changed to red in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/breeze/-/commit/532ea5e1c8a330e0bc47eae98376aa16656f320a

Close button in 5.24.3 (Breeze Light)

It still happens in 5.23.4 when using Breeze Light. Maybe it should be a little darker.
