Please be aware that Amarok 2.9.0 is based on Plasma 4, so even fi you run it on Plasma it will not respect its settings. You could switch to the Plasma 5 based version. Despite it being in Alpha stage, it is a full port and runs pretty smoothly. It's a problem that started to happen some months ago. Previously I used Amarok 2.x on Plasma 5 without any problem Testing on Amarok 2.9.71+ and Dolphin 23.08.4 / Plasma 5.27.10, Amarok folder view follows the system setting. Changing the click mode in KDE System Settings makes Amarok immediately follow the new setting, without even needing a program restart. Was likely related to 4->5 changes and differences, but not relevant anymore with KF5 based 2.9.71+. Closing |
