Could you upload here the audio with the issue? Does the same issue appear with 21.04.1 AppImage https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/21.04/linux/

I think it's probably something in the name. The file begins with a number but when I renamed it to a usual name there's no problem.

It would be nice if there was a warning of some kind. I have reported on bugs with colons, which is now fixed, question marks, and now apparently numbers at the beginning of the filename that cause problems without any warnings at all.

I cannot reproduce with a MP3 file begin with a number (like: "1test_file.mp3"), it plays complete to the end. Changing the language from English to Hungarian doesn't show the problem either. I tested with 21.04.1 on Windows and Lubuntu 20.04.

Does this happen with a "normal" MP3 file with a number in front of the file name as well?

mp3 recorded in audio recorder that doesn't run to the end in kdenlive

So yeah I guess it's not just a file with a number for a name. And renaming the file from audio recorder doesn't completely fix the problem. Two to three seconds still gets cut off after renaming.

Renaming a regular file does not cause a similar issue, correct.

I have attached a sample file that doesn't work right that was recorded in audion recorder

This is the kind of name that audio recorder produces
