Using RTL it does open on the right. * Edit, I mean: It does open in the right place, on the left (In reply to David Edmundson from comment #2) > * Edit, I mean: > > It does open in the right place, on the left Since I don't use RTL mode I can't object, but I think my point is still valid when it comes to having the task manager on the right side of the screen. I'm not aware of a way to reverse the task manager only (something like "plasmashell --reverse" reverses everything). We have had a few requests to allow the task manager to itself have a sort of "orientation" property. If we had that, then it would be reasonable for a right-aligned Task Manager to open new Tasks to the left. Aaaaand now we have it. :) |
Created attachment 138914 [details] RTL When opening apps that are not pinned in the task manager, they are usually added from left to right, I propose to have an option to add them from right to left (green arrow in the attachment), maybe it could be useful for RTL layouts (or just those who keep the task manager right aligned).
