SUMMARY
I use Plasma 5.21.90 from Kubuntu Beta PPA.
Twice today Whole Plasma has faded to grey due to (IMO) interacting with the Digital Clock.

The first time i was adding timezones from the Configure window and maybe when i closed the window (i'm not sure exactly when in this case) it became grey. I waited a little bit and logged out via qdbus org.kde.ksmserver /KSMServer logout 1 3 3, then i logged back in but only the cursor was visible. I waited a little bit more but nothing happened, then i restarted the whole PC through terminal.

The second time (which is on the boot after the restart) happened while i was scrolling with the mouse over the Digital Clock to change the timezones (i have enabled this feature). This time i logged out again via the terminal and logged back in, it worked and didn't stay black with only cursor visible. I have captured the journalctl from the two boots, do you want me to upload them?
