Does it work for non-local URLs? 20.12.3 with KF5 5.82 doesn't seem to work for any kind of URL. Sorry, the one in the comment before was 20.12.2. 20.12.2 with KF 5.82 (F34): no activity after pressing enter or go. Browsing files works, and opening URLs from the bookmarks works too. 20.12.0 (no code changes compared with 20.12.2) with KF 5.78 (Debian testing): the feature works regularly. I can't bisect the issue, probably something in KF5 then. Trying to enter pretty much anything into the URL bar has the same issue. Local or remote. Search terms or addresses. Nothing takes. Although I *can* open konqueror from a command line with an address/url appended, like this: /urs/bin/konqueror http://www.kde.org (In reply to Mika Norén from comment #3) > Trying to enter pretty much anything into the URL bar has the same issue. > Local or remote. Fedora 34. KDE Frameworks 5.82.0 Qt 5.15.2. Konqueror / Dolphin version : 20.12.2-1.fc34 Tried updating these packages to 21.04.1-1, same issue. I can also confirm that downgrading to the previous release (5.80.0) through "dnf downgrade 'kf5*'" fixes the issue for now. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 437161 *** |
