SUMMARY

None of the last builds of KDE Connect are showing the indicator in Windows tray, making them completely unusable.

Tested with:

kdeconnect-kde-21.04.1-597-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe
kdeconnect-kde-21.04.1-596-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe
kdeconnect-kde-21.04.1-595-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe
kdeconnect-kde-21.04.1-594-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe
kdeconnect-kde-21.04.1-593-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install the latest builds
2. Execute the app

OBSERVED RESULT

The indicator aren't being show.

EXPECTED RESULT

It should show the indicator in Windows tray.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 21H1 - Compilation: 19043.985

I can confirm this on my computer : Windows 10Pro 20H2 | Os build 19042.985

I tried clean installs of both last release and master builds :
kdeconnect-kde-21.04.1-597-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe
kdeconnect-kde-master-773-windows-msvc2019_64-cl.exe

When launching kdeconnect, I can see that kdeconnect-indicator.exe is running in taskmanager.
However, there is no icon interact with.

Connectivity seems to be working though, as I can send clipboard from my phone to my computer and remote input is working too.

I just pushed a patch to fix this. Download build no. 775 or later should have the issue fixed.

P.S.: double clicking the indicator now opens up the configure menu! =D

I confirm bug is fixed since build 775
