Changing Panel position reset gaps between tray system icons

My tray icons size is set to "Scale with Panel height" which removes those big gaps between them, If I move my panel from bottom to left then to bottom, the gaps between tray icons appears again (like it's reset in the background to Small). And if you just open Tray system config dialog it's fixed automatically without changing anything. See attached video for more info.

Can reproduce.

...Can't reproduce anymore. :) Musta gotten fixed at some point. Possibly with my work to make tray icon spacing manually configurable.
