battery status widget icon with unplugged power
Can you describe your current color scheme, plasma theme, etc? Any changes from the default settings? I'm running Kubuntu 21.04 with and default theme "Kubuntu" which is similar to "Breeze Twilight". But I just tested all other default themes "Breeze", "Breeze Dark" and "Breeze Twilight" with the same result. Maybe the reason why the power status indicator is hidden behind the percentage value is that my screen is UHD?! My screen resolution is 3840x2160 and I use a global scale of 200%. I have a screen with the same resolution and I'm using the same scale factor. :) That would be the cause of the icons being too small on X11, which you can fix by setting PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING=1 in your environment and restarting Plasma, if you're willing to live with mixed-DPI screen setups being completely broken. However none of this would cause the icon to not re-color itself. :/ Hi Nate, I set the panel height to 70 to increase icon sizes in the task bar. Fonts DPI size is set to 192 forced and global scale to 200%. I didn't set any environment variable for scaling and it looks good. If I want to test it, where should I add the user specific environment variable to load on login? However, this should look good with just changing the global scale factor for easy usage... It's a shot in the dark but is this broken in the Plasma Wayland session too, or only on X11? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Ahh, I see the problem now. The color is actually fine, but the icon is too small on X11 due to Bug 356446. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 356446 *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 381794 *** |
Created attachment 138504 [details] battery status widget icon with plugged power The status for power loading in the battery icon widget cannot be seen. It is shown but not colored properly (see attached screenshot). Please choose a lighter icon for power status indicator, place it above the percentage value or place the percentage value inside power status icon with lighter power status indicator. Thanks!
