Where did you expect to see a notification in GUI about item copied in clipboard ? Neither in Dolphin nor in Windows Explorer, CTRL+C displays any information. With CTRL+X the items get a little "brighter". Usually you have a tool running in the control bar with which you can display and select the clipboard content. Perhaps I am spoiled by vifm file manager I am using for almost all my file-related operations. Anyway I am not telling this is a must-have feature, it's more like nice-to-have. Adding screenshot of 3 programs (picasa, vim, ms excel) that actually do something to indicate clipboard has been manipulated. |
