SUMMARY
Hello,

digiKam has lots of export plugins.
Common to these plugins is that they all have an "About" button to open a dialog with information about the plugin, their developers etc.

In tab "Details" of these dialogs we see all HTML-tags for a link instead of the clickable link. Please see attached screenshot.
I suggest that this is not by design.

fix format detection in the QTextBrowser
The setHtml() function would ignore the
line breaks in the translated text.
