Boot Splash, yeah, we can do that. Login Screen has some behavioral settings in addition to appearance settings, which is why we have not done it yet. Might still be worth it though. What do you think, David? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) You're right, I think "Behavior..." should remain there, and displayed directly, in place of "Login Screen (SDDM)" perhaps with a title like "Login Settings". Yeah. This would require splitting the KCM in half though, into two new ones: "Login Screen Style" and "Login settings". Or maybe the behavior stuff could be merged into the Desktop Session KCM, as they are somewhat closely related being low-level settings pertaining to logging in and starting settings. Boot Splash was already moved; tracking only the SDDM KCM with this. I think that the advanced settings of the SDDM (the "Behavior..." button) might not fit in the Appearance section. Maybe a new section could be created in Startup and Shutdown, called "Login Behavior". Yes, that's what we would need to do. |
