SUMMARY
The appimage in Linux Mint doesn't show the Menu bar where menus like File, Edit, Render are there. I have attached the screenshot of how it looks. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.


SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:  Linux Mint 20.1 5.4.0-73-generic
Cinnamon version: 4.8.6


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have also tried to open previous version of Kdenlive with the same issue.

Thanks for your report! It seems as if you accidentally disabled the menu bar and the toolbars (or was this the first time you opened Kdenlive ever on your machine?).

Resetting the config files should solve the problem:
~/.config/kdenlive-appimagerc
~/.config/kdenlive-layoutsrc

An easier solution would be to press Ctrl+M this should show the menu bar again. Now you can enable the toolbar via menu Settings > Toolbars shown

Yes, it was the first time ever I opened Kdenlive in my machine and Ctrl + M did work. Really, thanks a lot for your help.
