The general way this gets fixed is by setting job->setRunExecutables(true);, as in Bug 433148. Can you confirm whether you're using the Snap version of Dolphin or the distro-packaged version? If you're using the Snap version, can you try the distro packaged version to see if that works? Reporter confirmed elsewhere that the Snap version is being used. I think this was already fixed in the latest version and it's just a matter of updating the Snap version. I encountered this issue as well when trying to open an executable in Dolphin on Archlinux. It runs when launched from the terminal Plasma: 5.21.5 Frameworks: 5.82.0 QT: 5.15.2 Dolphin: 21.04.1 Package: https://www.falstad.com/circuit/offline/ ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, BuildID[sha1]=23b129eee7f7751b48599b793e9e312d485e3e75, stripped It looks like it runs an instance of chrome(/electron?). Just launch "circuitjs1". |
