SUMMARY
kickoff is updated every time we install/uninstall an app. If this update occurs while kickoff is open,
categories become not clickable for a few milliseconds and a text that is not entirely readable appears.
Please see the attached screenshot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. uninstall an app
2. open kickoff immediately after uninstalling
3. 

EXPECTED RESULT
"Applications updated." should be entirely readable.

[applets/kickoff] Make "Applications Updated." message more legible

The view below it needs to be fully transparent or else it can still be
hard to read.
