When the Kerning Toggle is turned off in the Text Editing Window, you shouldn't be able to change the space between the letters, as the toggle is turned off. However, you can still do it. So, basically, the button is irrelevant. It works whenever it is on or off.

OBSERVED RESULT The button works whenever it is turned on or off.


EXPECTED RESULT When turned off, it shouldn't be making changes.

I can confirm that the 'V/A' Kerning toggle icon has no effect when doing kerning adjustment, when tested with the May 09 5.0.0-prealpha (git 41f9c4a) appimage.

I think it's a Minor bug because it doesn't affect the ability to adjust kerning in any way but it is confusing until you learn to ignore it.
