SUMMARY
up until recently,(last couple of months) I select all files to share with other kde devices. I've noticed that as soon as I select ALL files in a folder, the share option dissappears. If I unseelect a single file, the share option re-appears and I am able to share.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. check all software versions, and updates
2. tried on different android device, still works (older model).
3. tried on built in storage, and sd-card storage

OBSERVED RESULT
same as above. This of course assumes kdeconnect is at fault

Where are you selecting the files? In the KDE Connect app or some external file manager?

file manager. Yes.

Android "google" files version 1.0.278928638
kde connect (installed from APKPure version = 1.17.0
Android Version 10
Software version = V20a-AUS-XX
Model number = LM-K510ZMW
Appears to only or mainly occur on SD-Card Storage.
I stopped then restarted 'files'. I selected downloads, and some items were indicated as on phone storage, others indicated on SD-Card Storage. I could "select ALL", and the KDE-Connect Share icon was till visible. I navigated to SD-Card Downloads only, "Select ALL" and the KDE-Connect Share icon DISAPPEARED. The KDE-Connect Share icon immediately reappeared as soon as I de-selected one item.
IS this the information needed?
