SUMMARY
I have been having this issue forever and was living with it, but I want to try to solve it. When you're working on a title clip, ALt + R is supposed to make a rectangle. But sometimes (i'm not sure when), I get an error message saying it's an ambiguous shortcut and i should go to the settings to solve it. The thing is, there's nothing (not even the rectangle thing) related to Alt+R in the shortcut settings... 
Somebody on the forum said they were able to reproduce on windows too

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. project -> add title clip
2. press Alt + R
3. error pop-up shows up 

OBSERVED RESULT
Error so nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
rectangle tool

I can confirm this issue (on Windows). 

Not only alt+r isn't working all other alt+… shortcuts are not working inside the title window. 

I assume that's an assignment problem as alt+.. refers to the top menu. Alt+f = open the file menu, alt+e opens the edit menu. Maybe we have to exchange alt with another key.
