STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open video in Clip monitor
2. switch to Full Screen 
3. press "spacebar" 

OBSERVED RESULT
spacebar will activate floating menu buttons

EXPECTED RESULT
play/pause by spacebar, not LMB click

reloading the program - fix the issue, but meh..

What do you understand under "full screen"? 

a) Make the clip monitor full screen by double click or 
b) view -> enable full screen mode

a (never ever using double click btw i change it to 'F')

I defined shortcut "f" for "switch monitor fullscreen". Can't reproduce either. It's working as expected with space in fullscreen mode. I think we can close this bug?

yeah sure, it's normal now, but if i can figure it out, i will open it again
