in my system it works always so this needs a proper way to reproduce even though I wouldnt be surprised if it is kwin fault and somehow it loses its settings. So a "Manual" sleep, it continued working. I clicked on "Sleep" from the Application Launcher. Waited for screen to shut off. Gave it around a minute to finialize, then pushed a button to wake it up. Set the Sleep to 5 minutes, stepped away to make a cup of coffee, and it quit working on the automatic sleep. The sleep process isn't repeatable. Just did a manual sleep, gave it 5 minutes this time. META key still working. Let it goto sleep naturally on its 5 minute timer. Meta key still working. Performed another system update, problems appears to have gone away. KDE was updated to 5.21.5. |
