SUMMARY
Kopete does nto start as "online" even when configured to do so

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start kopete
2. configure the startup statzs to be "online"
3. restart kopete

OBSERVED RESULT
kopete does not log in to your messenger accounts even when the "startup state" setting does indeed say "online"

EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect this to work.

So it is not only me. I thought I was doing something wrong.
This still seems to be an issue.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
