Description Aodren Le Gloanec 2021-04-28 15:00:16 UTC
SUMMARY
clicking on a submenu without moving your mouse > the first element will always be selected

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the Application Launcher.
2. click on a sub-menu with several elements inside, but DO NOT MOVE your mouse from the tiniest bit.
3. You will see the first element selected, even though your mouse pointer is not above it. Just click again.

OBSERVED RESULT
You will see the first element selected, even though your mouse pointer is not above it. This will cause the fact that when you click to open an app, if you don't move your mouse the first application/sub-menu will be opened.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should open the app above which the mouse pointer is.

Only affects old Kickoff; probably not worthy fixing despite affecting the LTS, since this code has been completely replaced with a new thing in later Plasma versions.
