Steps to reproduce: 1. starting krusader in terminal 2. right clicking on a file Result: glenturret@glenturret6G:~> krusader QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath: Please instantiate the QApplication object first 17:27:58.082-debug default unknown@0 # System icon theme: "Vortex-Dark-Icons" 17:27:58.267-warning default unknown@0 # QWidget::insertAction: Attempt to insert null action 17:27:58.270-warning default unknown@0 # QWidget::insertAction: Attempt to insert null action 17:27:58.286-warning kf.i18n unknown@0 # Trying to convert empty KLocalizedString to QString. 17:27:58.396-warning kf.kio.widgets.kdirmodel unknown@0 # protocol mismatch: "" vs "file" KCrash: Application 'krusader' crashing... Unable to start Dr. Konqi Re-raising signal for core dump handling. It's strange. Does the same happen with Dolphin? It had obviously something to do with my multimedia codecs. As I put them back to packman repository (from opensuse multimedia, it worked fine again. It didn't happen with Dolphin. It's strange because I expect by the change of codecs or libs that something doesn't work. But I do not expect that the app crashes just by right clicking a file. Glad it works. Closing the bug. |
