Thank you for reporting. This is a known issue as Kdenlive is importing all clips concurrent and this blocks the hard disk. We working on a way to import clips each by each see here: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/986. Workaround: drag/drop only 10-20 clips at ones. SUMMARY I added 400 GiB worth of clips to project, and UI is frozen. Process Explorer shows that kdenlive is doing something (spawning ffmpeg processes). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1.
