the key phrase in the error message is "Please consult the Knowledge Base to find out how to run mysqld as root!" anyway, this wouldn't be a korganizer but; rather something for Akonadi. if you still want to pursue this I suggest reopening as an Akonadi issue; although this is really something for an administrator to handle. I don't Akonadi will override settings to enable root db access. |
