Had troubles finding it by myself. Turns out you have to be in any mode except Simple. Click on the SHIFT in upper right corner, than you have the square root function available. |
Created attachment 137723 [details] screenshot of kcalc SUMMARY KCalc Version 19.12.3 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open KCalc 2. Try to find a square root button. This normally looks like a tick: √ 3. Go through various mode, Simple, Scientific etc but never finding: √ OBSERVED RESULT Missing square root button and/or functionality. EXPECTED RESULT Every calculator I've ever used could do square root 25 = 5. Usually written sqrt or a √ SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20 (available in About System) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I had to install a virtual keyboard just to type that √ I used 'onboard' for that.
