A screenshot of the overlapping plasmoid

SUMMARY
I use the Unity layout for Latte Dock, and I added the Kickoff menu plasmoid to the side panel. When I click on the Menu button, the plasmoid appears and overlaps with the top Latte panel.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Unity Latte layout
2. Add Kickoff menu plasmoid on the side panel
3. Click on it

OBSERVED RESULT
The plasmoid overlaps with the top panel

EXPECTED RESULT
The plasmoid should be displayed without any overlap

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Under the two Latte panels, there are also two standard Plasma panels which are useful to avoid Latte panels covering files on the Desktop (according to this solution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ub6QAYl0sfM), so it means that the Kickoff Menu also overlaps standard panels

has been fixed and automagicaly supported for Latte Git version

I am referring to desktop issue. In any case you should try to reproduce this with Latte Git version and also that with plasma panels everything is alright. Latte in general is not positioning popups, this is applets and plasma-framework responsibility.

Thanks for your response and your amazing work!
I've tested with both Latte git and standard Plasma panels (by exiting from Latte and by adding a Kickoff menu plasmoid to a standard Plasma panel), and in both cases the problem persisted. So I guess I should open an issue for plasma-framework?
