Thanks for your report! The option is only active if the profile supports it (meaning it contains the "passes" option) f=mp4 movflags=+faststart vcodec=libx264 progressive=1 g=15 bf=2 crf=%quality acodec=aac ab=%audiobitrate+'k' passes (This is just a example to show what I mean. Haven't test if this configuration works!) Please check if we can close this report. Thanks, this explains it and if you know it makes sense. However, intuitively I thought one may alter (temporarily) a profile by using the controls. But I see that the idea is to copy a profile first and to alter it in a different dialog. Definitely confusing first! From my side you can close it now. ;) |

It'd be very helpful if KDEnlive showed a hint, why it's not possible to use it after all.
