SUMMARY
I would like to suggest a more efficient way of duplicating clips in the timeline. At the moment, one has to copy the clip(s), place the cursor at the desired spot, paste the clip(s), and, often, reposition the clip(s).

In Premiere and Figma (and I assume other applications), there's a shortcut where you can hold the ALT key, click on the target, and drag it to automatically create a duplicate and place it where you like. Here is a demo (skip to the 1 min mark): https://youtu.be/xzHB5N68spg. Even just having a CTRL + D shortcut to duplicate would help with efficiency.

Thank you for reporting. Yes that would be a good feature. Hold down alt and drag a clip/picture/title gets duplicated including all effects associated ones released on the new place.
